TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?

“I've been Noosa for the last 26 years and it has been a great place, an inspirational place to live, to create artworks, various styles of artworks. I've been painting full time for all that time and I feel very honored and privileged that my artworks are featuring in the Black Pepper capsule for this year again, at the second year running, which is a real privilege and an honor.”

WHAT HAS BEEN THE INSPIRATION FOR SOME OF YOUR LATEST ARTWORK?

“My latest artwork and inspiration is based on Australian coastal themes. I try to capture those daily experiences, and then transform that onto canvas. I enjoy changing and tweaking the colours so that it's my interpretation rather than what everyone sees, this creates different memories for everyone.”

TELL US ABOUT THE GORGEOUS ARTWORK CHOSEN FOR OUR GIFTING RANGE?

“All these beautiful artworks feature various Australian animals and birds, the koala and the kangaroo initially were inspired to help raise funds for wildlife, injured wildlife. So they have a special meaning for me knowing that these artworks initially were actually helping injured animals. I tried to make them look happy and joyful to bring hope and make people feel that we can protect and help our native wildlife.”
