OUR ICONIC LINEN COLLECTION

Every spring and summer, as the days grow longer and warmer, there’s one fabric that our customers return to again and again: linen. At Black Pepper, our linen collection has become a best-seller season after season, and it’s no surprise why. Linen offers a perfect blend of style, comfort, and durability, making it an essential addition to any warm-weather wardrobe.

Linen’s natural properties make it the ideal fabric for the warmer months. It’s lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking, which means it keeps you cool and comfortable even on the hottest days. We love how linen drapes effortlessly, offering a relaxed yet polished look that’s perfect for both casual outings and work attire.

THERE ARE MANY BENEFITS TO LINEN - THESE ARE OUR FAVOURITES!

Breathability: Linen allows air to circulate freely, keeping you cool and preventing overheating.

Moisture-Wicking: Linen absorbs moisture without feeling damp, helping you stay dry and comfortable.

Durability: Linen is known for its strength and resilience, making it a long-lasting addition to your wardrobe.

Effortless Style: The natural texture and drape of linen add a touch of elegance to any outfit, ensuring you look chic with minimal effort.

CARING FOR YOUR LINEN

To keep your Black Pepper linen pieces looking their best, it’s important to follow a few simple care guidelines. While linen is a durable fabric, it does require a bit of extra attention to maintain its beauty.

Washing: Linen can be machine washed, but we recommend using a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fabric’s natural fibres. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents, as these can weaken the fibres over time.

Drying: Air drying is the best option for linen. Lay your garments flat or hang them to dry in a shaded area to prevent the fabric from becoming stiff

Ironing: Linen naturally wrinkles, which is part of its charm. However, if you prefer a smoother look, iron your linen pieces while they are still slightly damp, using a medium to high heat setting. Alternatively, you can use a steamer to remove wrinkles without the need for direct heat.

Storage: Store your linen garments in a cool, dry place, preferably folded to avoid stretching the fabric. If you hang them, use padded hangers to prevent creases and maintain their shape.
